H&M will open a new store at Brea Mall on May 8 at noon.
The first 200 customers will receive a free H&M T-shirt and gift cards with various values up to $250.
The Brea Mall store will carry fashion forward styles and basics for women, men, and young women and men, as well as lingerie. It will be the fourth O.C. store for the Swedish fashion company after two locations at South Coast Plaza and one at Irvine Spectrum.
The store's phone number will be 714-257-9563, and store hours will be Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
H&M specializes in "fast fashion" – styles from high fashion runways quickly adapted to cheap outfits for the masses. The company occasionally makes waves for creating limited edition lines with A-list designers such as Karl Lagerfeld and Stella McCartney.
The next designer H&M will work with is Rei Kawakubo, cult fashion favorite and head of the label Comme des Garcons. The line will be released in fall.
