"The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" begins thirteen hundred years after the time of the first film, "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe." Prince Caspian is the rightful heir to the throne, but his title is threatened when King Miraz, Caspian's uncle, is presented with a long-awaited newborn son who will take the throne.
Running for his life, Caspian summons the Pevensie siblings, the heroes of the previous film in the series.
Together Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy Pevensie fight alongside Prince Caspian against King Miraz in a battle to bring peace back to the land of Narnia. During their struggles, the Pevensie siblings learn life lessons in leadership, temptation, and love.
Many of the new characters who are introduced in this film have a humorous side to them that will leave many gasping for air from laughing so hard. The animation in the film barely seems like animation because it's so realistic.
"Prince Caspian" is faster paced than the first Narnia film. The only downfall of the film is that for viewers who have not seen, or do not remember "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" will most likely not be able to follow along with this movie.
Every minute of this 144-minute movie is captivating and is worth the price of the movie ticket. When it is over, it will leave its viewers begging for more. "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" is a masterpiece of the arts that will have viewers sitting on the edge of their seats in anticipation and wonder.
