Fifteen La Habra girls competed on Saturday in the 60th annual Miss La Habra Pageant, presented by the La Habra Host Lion's Club. Tiffany Fox, 18, of La Habra High took home the crown. (Click here to read a Q & A with Fox).
Wearing poodle skirts, the girls rocked it out in '50s fashion for their opening number and black capris with sequined belts for their casual wear competition. The teens were judged on causal and evening wear, an on-stage question and a pre-pageant interview with the judges.
Fox was also awarded a $1,000 scholarship and the traditional Miss La Habra gold necklace.
Jessica Aguirre, Monique Gomez, Chelsea Kurz and Chelsea Moore were named princesses and each received a $500 scholarship.
The girls will participate in a variety of Lion's Club events throughout the year, most notably the annual Corn Festival in August where they will ride in the famous parade.
