Get inspired for spring and summer by checking out the latest fashions from Ve’cel Clothing, Red Lotus Clothing and Brokedown Clothing at the Flaunt OC fashion show and dance party at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Gods & Heros in Costa Mesa.
Allie and Clay from the MTV show "Newport Harbor" will host the event, which will feature models from Estancia, Laguna Hills, Tustin and Irvine high schools.

Tip 1: Keep your look simple and clean. During the spring and summer seasons you want to look relaxed. Loosely fitted clothing will give you that carefree look while still showing off your best assets. Accent your outfits with subtle pieces and forego big, bulky jewelry.
Tip 2: Focus on one part of your outfit and build around it. Don't overburden the eyes with too much going on. If you have a great graphic tee, pair it with a neutral bottom that won't take away from the great design.
Tip 3: Spring and summer are seasons when color can be fun to play with, but this year keep colors soft.
Tip 4: Stick with breathable fabrics like cotton, jersey and denim. You never want your clothes to stick to you and sweat marks are definitely a fashion no-no.
Tip 5: Be comfortable. By wearing pieces that make you feel your best, you will look your best by exuding confidence in your clothes.

Tip 2: Crystal embellishments are making a comeback this summer in a huge way.
Tip 3: Wearing hats, like cadets, truckers and fedoras, is a stylish way to keep your face protected from the summer sun.
Tip 4: Dress up shorts and tank tops with long scarves. Jessica Alba has been photographed dressing up her outfirts with Brokedown’s scarves.
Tip 5: Bright colors like yellow, green and red are great ways to get noticed.
