IRVINE- Aspiring fashion designers from five local high schools  showcased their design talents Friday at the third annual "Walk the  Walk" Fashion Show sponsored by Hurley.

For the second  year in a row, San Clemente High walked away with top  honors – a  $10,000 donation to their school's art and music programs.

The  four other participating high schools – Mission Viejo, Capistrano  Valley, Huntington Beach, and Edison – each took home $5,000 donations  for their art and music programs.

The students created original  looks using existing pieces from Hurley's Holiday 2008 men's and young  contemporary collections. They styled the outfits, created a theme,  hired models, and oversaw hair and makeup, music selection and event  promotion.

A panel of judges that included founder of the global  youth brand Bob Hurley rated the young designers on a 10-point scale  that included such categories as overall vibe, styling and creativity,  crowd enthusiasm, and brand messaging.

Brett Robinson of San  Clemente High won the Golden Shears award for best "Head-To-Toe" look  for guys, and Anna Le of Mission Viejo High won the Golden Shears award  for best "Head-To-Toe" look for girls. Their styles will be sold at  Hurley.com.

This year's event attracted so many teens – a  crowd that numbered more than 1,000 – it was moved from Hurley's  headquarters in Costa Mesa to outdoors in Big Wheel Court at the Irvine  Spectrum.
