The Tustin American Legion will send three Tustin students to Boy's  State in Sacramento. The program teaches high school junior boys about  government by setting up model elections and a model government.

The  three winners will spend one week at Cal State Sacramento in June for  the exercise. This year's winners are David Reuter of Tustin High  School, Tyler Ochiai of Foothill High School and Brogan Evans of  Beckman High School.

The students were chosen by high school  counselors and members of the American Legion Post 227 based on  academic and athletic achievements, extracurricular activities and  leadership. In Sacramento, they will create model city, county and  state governments through a two-party mock election to learn how  governments function.
